Couple fly back to UK from Spain to support Brexit Party
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

The internet has reacted in disbelief regarding the video below taken from BBC news on Friday. The couple featured in the video clip flew to the UK to join Nigel Farage’s new Brexit Party – from their home in Benidorm!

A couple who flew over from their home in Benidorm to support Farage, rallying against the very institution they owe their sun kissed, cushy lifestyle to while wearing naff anti EU badges is quite possibly the most Brexit thing you will ever see.pic.twitter.com/vIzzkWGRTY

The couple in the video are known only as Barry & Diane, and they appeared on BBC news on Friday at the launch of Nigel Farage’s new Brexit Party at a factory in Coventry.

This video clip has gone viral on the internet due to the ‘Bonkers’ couple flying from their home in Benidorm. Twitter users were quick to point out the ‘Bonkers’ couple may not realise what Brexit would mean for the pair.

Although Spain has committed to UK nationals who are properly registered to live in Spain can stay after Brexit, it is expected that pensions that are drawn in UK sterling and converted to Euro could be affected. Some pensioners living on the Costa’s have already seen their pension income affected by as much as 30% lower.
