Gusts up to 80mph are forecast for parts of the UK on Saturday, with a warning of potential flying debris and large waves.
The Met Office has issued a yellow alert for wind and rain for London and southern England, East Anglia and South Wales.
There are also rain warnings for eastern and northeastern Scotland covering both Saturday and Sunday.
The strongest winds are most likely across coastal southwest England and towards Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
Sky News weather presenter Jo Edwards says the storm will bring with it some “very turbulent conditions”.

She added: “Inland gusts are likely to reach 55 or 60mph, with some southern and southwestern coasts seeing gusts of up to 80mph.
“Such wind strengths can be dangerous, whipping up large waves and lifting unsecured objects considerable distances.
“This is particularly important this weekend when there’ll be a huge number of planned bonfires and firework displays with many more people outdoors than one would expect at this time of year.
“Those areas affected by the strongest winds may see tiles blown down, damage to trees and power outages.
“The Met Office’s wind warning runs from 4am to 4pm, so winds are expected to ease through the afternoon.”
Road, rail, air and ferry journeys could also be disrupted, but the winds are expected to slowly ease from the west during Saturday afternoon.
The rain could bring with it the chance of flooding for homes and businesses and fast flowing or deep floodwater could cause a risk to life.
Spray and flooding could also make driving conditions difficult.
In eastern Scotland, 40mm (1.57in) of rain could fall across Aberdeenshire, eastern Moray and northern Angus.
As much as 80mm (3.15in) could hit Easter Ross and Caithness, perhaps a little more over high ground.
