The UK winner of last Tuesday’s £123m EuroMillion jackpot has still not come forward to claim their prize.
The single ticket scooped £123,458,008 – the third biggest amount in the draw’s history.
It matched all five main numbers – 25, 27, 39, 42 and 46 – and two Lucky Stars – 11 and 12 – on 11 June.
But there are concerns the lucky winner, which could be an individual or a syndicate, may not yet realise they have won.
Operator Camelot is now urging players to “check, double-check and triple-check” their tickets.
At this stage, the company has only revealed that the ticket was bought at a National Lottery retailer, rather than online.
But if no one has lodged a claim in around a week’s time, then the location of where it was bought will be revealed.
Frances and Patrick and Connolly, from Northern Ireland, won £114.9 million on New Year’s Day.
Then in March, Ade Goodchild, from Hereford, banked £71 million – before an anonymous ticket-holder won £35.2 million in April.
Andy Carter from the National Lottery said: “A week has slipped by and winners may have been going about their everyday routine completely unaware of this amazing change of fortune.
“The ticket was bought in-store so players should check the places they usually keep their tickets and make sure they’ve checked them all.
“We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win soon.”
