A tragic accident saw a French woman fall to her death in Les Rotes near Denia.
Emergency services were called to the scene but were unable to save the 67 year old woman who lived in Pego.
The woman fell approximately four meters from the cliff top whilst out walking with her husband. It is reported she stopped to pick a flower and lost her balance.
